"Spa gift card for my mom." That's how gift buyers ask.

Not "med spa gift card". So I asked Google three gift questions the way a buyer would, and recorded what its AI answer named. Clinic and spa names are removed.

Google, Toronto location, not signed in, Oct 17, 2026. The AI answers weren't stable: the second question changed on reload. I loaded the other two once. A snapshot, not a ranking.

For the two everyday gift questions, the answer named day spas, a gift card network, beauty brands and gift baskets. It named no med spas in the answers I recorded.

When the question said "med spa" and "delivered by email", it named four, and reused what their gift card pages said plainly. It can't repeat what a page doesn't say. In my sample check, delivery and amounts only showed up at checkout.

What I check for your gift cards

The questions gift buyers actually ask.

  • for my mom
  • for my wife
  • for my daughter
  • last-minute
  • delivered by email
  • any treatment

Then I check your gift card page: does it say plainly how the card arrives, when, the amounts, and what it can be used for?

Worth checking before the December rush.
